The columns patio

The babouche yellow octagonal patio is dramatically surrounded by orientalist marble columns. The patio is the focal point of Villa Luisa to this day. Eclectic Neo-Indian and Andalusian elements and a rare American Renaissance style tiled dado that is not to be missed. The columns support the legendary glassed cupola, which plays as a witness to the most exciting moment of the celebration: The dance.

Hall of lions

In Neo-Renaissance style the Hall of Lions features unique American gestures in the wooden waffle slab ceiling and in the polychrome sculped plasterwork. The walls have being recently upholstered with lavish moiré silk and feature four exquisite oil paintings from the 17th century. Two consoles accommodate the rare blue and white underglaze lion figures, which were custom made at the time by Lafitte for this specific room.

Surrounded by striking Neo-Nazari arches and columns, the Hall of Tapestries bestows eye-catching plasterwork in Moroccan-style, waffle slab ceilings and detailed tiled dado interacting impeccably among ceramic intricate interlace design on the floor presented on three shades of marble.

This secluded Neo-Renaissance room within boiserie walls features a seamless articulation between Neo-Mudejar finishes and the waffle slab ceiling. Hidden behind mirrored doors, provides complete privacy and a place to take a pause. It is also ideal for interviews and/or dressing room during editorial/ film productions.

Villa Luisa’s top floor was carefully designed in 2017 in pure Moroccan style to inspire and relax our guests. Every piece was bespoke made in Morocco and India filling the air with mingling scents of clove, sandalwood, cardamom, and myrrh. A unique getting-ready experience. Access by private elevator.
