Herman Bemberg arrived at Seville in 1918. The following year, having found the perfect site for his house, he contacted Valencian architect Vicente Traver y Tomás (who would become the mastermind behind other magnificent buildings in the city)

The great restoration

A few years after Herman Bemberg’s death in 1931, his family decided to open the house to the public. After all, a property that once belonged to a passionate musician could not stay closed and in silence.
