CARTA DE LA DIRECTORA GENERAL

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Villa Luisa, the privileged, most symbolic house at the centre of Seville that always carried its name with unfailing grace.

Since the times of its founder Mr. Herman Bemberg, legacy that remains in the hands of his family, Villa Luisa witnessed unparallel events holding dear anecdotes for almost a century. This is how Herman Bemberg opened the Great Book of this house. He was a well-known classical music composer at the time who used to indulge himself gathering in Villa Luisa many great personalities who still today imbue to the house´s authenticity. They were invited to enjoy, share and celebrate the small and big pleasures of life. These very motivations became the inspiration behind the identity that we carry on today.

We feel Villa Luisa as our own thanks to its owners generosity and now shines more than ever before. After four long years of complex renovations and restorations in which architects, restorers, decorators, artists, embroiderers, ceramists, lighting professionals and landscapers participated, we aimed to recover Villa Luisa to its original spleandour. Everyone was committed to recapture its soul, retrieving the exquisite pieces affected by time, strengthen the walls’ structure and render its garden with new species and promenades long lost.

In addition, we incorporated the best in technology, to answer the modern times high demands calling in event planning solutions.

I am proud to say that our project grows year after year, and we are all devoted to carry on celebrating life within Villa Luisa´s walls. This is how our emblematic centennial palm grove, which is considered the most important in Seville, will linger on, witnessing endless celebrations.

Our goal is to foster and carry on this spirit of celebration, so that future generations can keep toasting with us for many years to come.
